This edition of the Silverado 2500 HD has two muscular engines to choose from, both 6.6-liter V8s. The first is a gas-powered engine that delivers 410 horsepower alongside 464 pound-feet of torque. This lends the truck an 18,700-pound maximum towing capacity when fully equipped. The other engine is a 470-horsepower Duramax diesel variant that generates an incredible 975 pound-feet of torque, which allows the vehicle to tow up to 22,500 pounds.

Off-Roading Capabilities

A tenacious 4×4 system is available, and when combining it with the available Rancho twin-tube shocks, electronic-locking rear differential, all-terrain tires, and off-road suspension system, it leaves few places where this truck can’t go. When opting for the ZR2 trim, you get other off-roading extras, like Multimatic DSSV dampers, 35-inch Mud Terrain tires, and an e-Locker rear differential.
