The 2025 Chevy Trax may be Chevy’s most affordable SUV, but it’s practical, reliable, and efficient. The new Trax comes in five trims, all well-equipped with great amenities and smart technology. Let’s see which trim suits you best.
LS
The entry point to the lineup is the LS, which comes with a 1.2-liter turbo-three engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. This powertrain makes 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, and it’s offered exclusively on all the trims. The LX gets you 17-inch steel wheels and LED headlights with automatic high beams.
The LX offers remote keyless entry, cloth seats, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats. Up front, there’s an 8-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other amenities include a four-speaker stereo, two USB ports, and a manual climate control system.
1RS
If you prefer the Trax with a sportier vibe, the 1RS is the trim for you. It upgrades to 18-inch aluminum wheels and heated and powered side mirrors. This grade also gets RS-exclusive accents, such as a black grille, a red RS badge on the front grille, and black front and rear bowtie emblems.
Inside, you get a sportier, flat-bottom, heated steering wheel. With remote start, you can remotely unlock the doors, start the engine, and even warm or cool the cabin. The front seats are heated, with separate controls on the climate control panel for the driver and front passenger.
LT
The LT is an upgrade of the base LS model. It sports 17-inch aluminum wheels, signature LED daytime running lamps, and black roof rails. The interior gets upgraded with cloth and Evotex seats, an automatic climate control system, and an 8-inch reconfigurable instrument panel.
The LT ditches the base infotainment display for a larger 11-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Music sounds even better with the upgraded six-speaker sound system.
2RS
Building on the 1RS, the 2RS upgrades the exterior with 19-inch black aluminum wheels, roof rails, and high gloss black mirror caps. It retains the RS-exclusive exterior trim for that sporty vibe.
Inside, you are treated to Evotex seats, an automatic climate control system, and an 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support. The 2RS comes with a larger 11-inch display, just like the LT. It also has two extra USB charging ports and a six-speaker stereo.
ACTIV
At the top of the lineup, the ACTIV grade is fully loaded with all the premium features from lower trims. It rides on 18-inch wheels and wears an ACTIV badge on the rear, black bowtie emblems, and titanium roof rails. Evotex seats, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, and a heated steering wheel all come standard. The tech on the dash features an 11-inch infotainment display and an 8-inch digital instrument panel.
