The Chevy Trax crossover SUV enters its second generation in 2024, receiving a complete redesign. Now bigger than before, the 2024 Chevy Trax is even more practical, efficient, and advanced than its predecessor. The Trax comes in five trim levels, which are available at your local Chevy dealership.

Chevy Trax LS

All 2024 Trax models feature the same Ecotec 1.2-liter turbocharged engine producing 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. As the most affordable option, the LS serves as the base model. It rides on 17-inch steel wheels and comes equipped with LED headlights and daytime running lights for better visibility.

Inside, it has cloth seating, manual climate control, and an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in Wi-Fi. For driver assistance, the LX includes Chevy Safety Assist technologies like automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, and auto high beams.

Chevy Trax 1RS

The sporty 1RS trim enhances the styling inside and out. Unique exterior details include 18-inch black machined aluminum wheels, gloss black accents, black Chevrolet bowtie emblems, and unique front and rear fascia designs. The black styling continues on the distinct flat-bottomed heated steering wheel. The 1RS also gains heated front seats, a wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, and a remote start.

Chevy Trax LT

Stepping up to the LT brings more technology and amenities. The exterior gains 17-inch gray machined aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, and roof-mounted side rails. Inside, the LT includes nicer cloth and Evotex upholstery, automatic climate control, an 11-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system.

Chevy Trax 2RS

As the sportiest model in the 2024 Trax lineup, the 2RS combines unique style with sophisticated features. Building off the 1RS, it incorporates LT elements like the 11-inch touchscreen and dual-zone climate control. Exterior touches include exclusive 19-inch wheels, gloss black accents, and RS front and rear designs. The Driver Convenience Package offers extras like adaptive cruise control and an automatic sunroof.

Chevy Trax Activ

The Activ trim targets adventurous drivers with its rugged styling cues like 18-inch black wheels and a black mesh grille. Improvements over lower models include heated side mirrors, an 8-way power driver's seat, a wrapped steering wheel, and extra interior storage. Like the LT, it features automatic climate control, an 8-inch driver information display, keyless open, and keyless start.

The Trax Activ comes standard with an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Chevy Safety Assist safety features are standard, while adaptive cruise control is available.
