The Chevy Equinox features a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces a turbocharged output of 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Other base-level equipment includes a direct-injection fuel system, automatic stop/start technology, and driver shift controls. On top of that, an electronically controlled, six-speed automatic transmission complements the engine for streamlined efficiency from startup to shutdown.
Performance
This model sports performance brake linings, a MacPherson strut front suspension, a four-link rear suspension, and StabiliTrak traction control.
