Engine
The all-new Chevy Camaro runs with a base 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and six-speed manual transmission. Together they output 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Optional units include a 3.6-liter V-6 with 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque, followed by a 6.2-liter V-8 with 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. At the top sits a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 with 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. An eight- and 10-speed automatic transmission are also available.
Performance
Both the coupe and convertible Camaro feature a rear-wheel-drive setup. They also come with battery rundown protection, power steering, a sports suspension, and up to four selectable drive modes, including Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and Track. You'll feel impressed by the driving range as well, which extends up to 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
Upgrades consist of a black or silver strut tower brace, Brembo brakes, launch control, a performance air-intake system, and three-position rear stabilizer bars. You can also opt for painted brake calipers with warm-color options such as orange, red, and yellow.
